Understanding Horse

When being around horses it is important to understand them, for example to know if your horse is angry, happy, or scared, to know there are characters your horse will display to show what mood he is in as in the pictures below.

Here are a few pictures to know  your horses moods, so be alert to reactions from your horse, if you are jumping a course when approaching a fence if your horse refuses don’t just turn around and ask him to jump again immediately, give him a chance to think over, let him sniff the fence so he wont have doubts about jumping it, when you are sure he is ready then ask for the second try, same to any object you try to introduce to him.
